Founders

The founders of DIREX, Dorota and Ireneusz Prudzyńscy were married in the autumn of 1981, and started a business involving growing and sale of flowers, mainly including gerbera and lily. When economic transformation began in Poland at the end of the 1980’s they decided to extend their business by adding own transport, and hence in the autumn of 1989 they founded DIREX, and purchased their first Liaz truck tractors. Over time it appeared that the transport business was taking up more and more time and attention of the owners, and was becoming the priority of their activities. This was the case until the owners decided to extend the transport activity by entering the international market.
