In 2005, DIREX Group as the only Polish haulier took advantage of partnership and participation in the IRU project "Road Transport drives progress. From Beijing to Brussels". This unprecedented Project, which was supported by a number of international organizations and road transport associations was to be a symbolic re-opening of the Silk Road, which used to be a trade connection of the south-east Asian potential with Europe, and through it with the eastern coast of northern America. The transit of the IRU Caravan in autumn 2005 from Asia to Europe, which was led by our drivers Marek Foryszewski and Janusz Serwiński, allowed wide range of entrepreneurs, international trade organizations and potential clients to discover the idea, which DIREX has been familiar with for many years already – transcontinental shipments of cargo by road between Europe and Asia is feasible and can be utilized even today in both ways; last but not least – it constitutes an new equilibrium of time and cost in modern logistics.

The DIREX Group Has been performing transcontinental truck deliveries for our clients for almost a decade now – our regular lines from Europe to Kazakhstan and former soviet republics in that region are operational throughout the whole year; we maintain our stable operational activity all year round as one of only few transport operators in this part of the world. We offer our clients to their disposal almost 10 years of experience, professional drivers and specialized equipment prepared for long-distance transits via Urals and the steppes of Asia.
